Protest is not always loud. Sometimes it is slow, careful, and drawn in sanguine.
I am a visual artist working across drawing, mixed media, and found materials. My practice is rooted in eco-surrealism and protest: I use the language of beauty to seduce and yet confront the viewer with environmental destruction, species loss, and the quiet violence of human systems.
I grew up in Singapore, have lived in various countries, and am currently based in Dublin. That movement across borders has shaped how I see environmental damage as something no country owns. By returning again and again to the creatures and landscapes being erased, I am insisting they matter.
